John Pezzenti

John Pezzenti was a famous Photographer that moved to Alaska to work on the Alaskan Pipeline. He became an independent Photographer in Alaska where he shot for National Geographic, Reader's Digest, and Natural History. I really like this landscape shot of the Mountians. I like the reflection off the water and the ski. Lots of blue. Monochromatic??? I wonder what it would look like in black & white.

David Michael Kennedy

David Michael Kennedy is a well known photographer that lives in New Mexico but spent 12 years in New York working for major ad agencies and musicians. I don't know much about this photographer but I came across some of his work and I thought it was interesting. I'm not sure, but a lot of his work, including this one, looks like it was taken with an infared camera. I like this type of photography because of the high contrast effect. The trees look like there on fire or like they're glowing. I also like the adobe style house and the shadows casted on the walls from the posts.

Annie Leibovitz

      I've been reading about Annie Leibovitz, and she has worked for Disney, Vanity Fair, Rolling stones, and has been known to be one of the best Photographers amongst celebrities. She has photographed many celebrities including: Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, and Leonardo De Caprio. She is best known for her portraits and use of bold colors.
