Ansel Adams was a photographer that use his work to help promote wildlife conservation. Most of his work was taken in Yosemite National Park. He was an environmental activist born in San Francisco, California in 1902. His black and white images of Yosemite National Park helped establish photography in fine art. During the 1906 earthquake in San Francisco, he was thrown into a wall and broke his nose, which was never properly set. It remained crooked for the rest of his life.
Adams professional career took off with his publication of "Parmelian Prints of the High Sierras." He also spent time in New Mexico were he shot "Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico" which became very popular, printing thousands of prints that became his financial stability in his career.
I think Ansel Adams is the most influential photographer for me, because landscape and wild life photography is what I would like to shoot, and who better to look up to than Ansel Adams for this type of photography.

He was great!... but just the tip of the iceberg!! :)
